The Globe Theatre

The Globe Theatre was a theatre where are all of shakespeare’s well known plays were performed for the audience. It is a world renowned theatre as well as an education centre. It is now a cultural landmark which is located on the banks of a river in London Uk. The globe was first constructed by the Lord Chamberlains men (Shakespeare’s play company )on Thomas Brend’s land in 1599. During the performance of Henry VII (Shakespeare’s play) this theatre was set on fire. The roof caught on fire, and the flames spread rapidly. It was rebuilt 1614 and then demolished in 1644 by the Puritans (who were English protesters.)
